The Alliant Credit Union Foundation was established to help people and communities. We “give back” through initiatives coordinated by Alliant’s Civic Affairs Committee. Many generous, civic minded Alliant employees offer their time, talents and donations to worthy causes including:
Financial Literacy
Through annual foundation grants and dedicated Alliant Credit Union employee volunteer teachers, we work with a national organization dedicated to enhancing the financial literacy of minorities and others. Our assistance helps young people learn to manage money and become better off economically.
Educational Assistance
Alliant employees respond tremendously to an Annual School Supplies Collection, helping to provide much needed supplies for students of minority schools. To further support education, Alliant joined the Chicago Public Schools Partnership Program. The foundation plans to provide financial assistance to this partnership.
Employee Participation Donations
Up to $100 is donated on behalf of each Alliant employee who volunteers for an approved fundraising event sponsored by a worthwhile charitable organization.
Food and Clothing Collections
Employee food and clothing collections benefit people in need.
Employee Volleyball Tournament
The annual Employee Volleyball Tournament raises sizable amounts of money each year for a designated charity…primarily through Alliant employee donations and fundraising.
